All-Star Blues Review with The Velveetatones (Blues)

The Velveetatones are a blues-like group based out of the midwest.. The group has been performing since 2002 as a side project for four working blues musicians as an outlet for their own material and sanity. The group performs at dozens of large festivals each year and works full time on the midwest cuircut in support of their many personal and group recordings for labels that include DELMARK, EVEIDENCE, ROUNDER, FALSE DOG, ALABAMA JUBILEE. The Velveetatones are also a backing group for hire for other Blues legends that need support in the midwest. W.C. Clark (Godfather of Austin Blues) is a perfect example.
